?Sinosenecio yangii (Asteraceae), a new species from Guizhou, China

A new species Sinosenecio yangii D.G. Zhang & Q. Zhou (Asteraceae, Senecioneae) from Guizhou Province, China, is described and illustrated based on its morphological characteristics molecular evidence. It closely resembles S. confervifer guangxiensis , the former in scapigerous habit smooth glabrous achene surface, latter calyculate involucre purple abaxial leaf both shape indumentum of lamina, but differs markedly two having fewer capitula epappose achenes. Phylogenetic analysis nrITS ndhC-trnV sequences shows that this belongs to latouchei clade sister with moderate support.
